Woahhh, too fast Aug 19, 2008

Yesterday, China team’s Chan Yi Bing won the gold medal for the ring apparatus in gymnastics! He’s so cute! But another sad thing’s that Liu Xiang had a heel injury and he couldn’t compete in the hurdles. It was soo unbelievable! Everyone in China was hoping he’d win and I hope he’ll heal soon :) But it’s kind of annoying they kept replaying the accident over and over again for the whole day! :tired: It’s sort of irritating seeing the coach cry and cry again and again

Anyways, school’s been great because I don’t have so much homework! Yay for that! But the bad thing’s like during lunch, no one knows their place in the “social groups” thing and the 6th graders are like hogging ALL the tables and the new people [who I have no idea who they are] and those annoying people I don’t want to sit with keep coming over to my friend’s table and I’m like, “What the heck is going on? Are we suddenly like glowing magnets that people want to come?! Do we have to yell, ‘We don’t like you, so sit somewhere else!’ to get you to go? Gosh, 6th graders aren’t following anything, they just swarm around.” They seriously need some order, last year, everything was good besides the 6th graders

Also, those advertising applications are coming to me so fast, I hardly have time to put them up. I’d really appreciate it if you’ll sign up for reviews instead of advertising, because I feel like I need to close advertising for a while. And sorry to those who’ve applied, I’ll try to put you up as soon as possible, but I’m quite busy with school and I don’t have hours of free time like I used to now. Really sorry.

8th Grade! Aug 16, 2008

Listening to: Just a Dream—Carrie Underwood

The first three days of 8th grade was really great! Besides the fact they gave big homework already :tired: The Bible and Algebra teacher is the coolest, he’s not like the Humanities (English and Social Studies) teacher who is like really mean and picky. He doesn’t care if your lines aren’t straight, I think some people jaw-dropped  . We got used to having to use a ruler and he just said, “Just draw a line, I don’t care, you can even draw a squiggly line”. It was hilarious

Also, I made some icons yesterday and today and I never realized how fun they were when you have like hundreds of textures  Oh yeah, one tip to those who always ask about my graphics, brushes are near to useless when it comes to icons, you need textures. I suggest going to LJ and DeviantArt and looking at people’s credits pages, they’re awesome!

Look out for the new icons, I have yet to put them up, and a new tutorial! :D

Questions:
1. Has school started for you yet?
2. If yes for no. 1, how was it?
3. Do you want more tips in my blogs? Or would you like me to do guides?

Woopee! I finally finished adding some tutorials! I’m really happy about them, but not so much to the quantity  Why can’t I have as many tutorials as Swimchick when I say *pop*? They’re so time consuming! :( I’ve also made a lot of color palettes, but putting up this new layout took me 2 hours. :phew: It was hardwork, but now it’s a lot more pleasing to the eye. The other layout’s colors were too hard to read. I had to squint! lol

Another thing! Reviews are now open! You can apply now! =] I’ll be very happy if I get applications :D
Aaaannndd… I would appreciate it a lot if you’d continue requesting tutorials. I’ll start working on a CSS one soon

Photoshop! LAYOUT TUT! PSP!

Enjoy while it lasts! I’m going to school on Wednesday!

Beijing Olympics Aug 11, 2008

Ohmygosh! The Beijing Olympics are soo exciting!! I tried watching the Opening Ceremony on Friday night, but it was simply too long. The performances were fine, but it’s not like “Boom! Kazam! Whee, *person pops up*” blah blah. It’s just slow and not interesting. I’m enthusiastic to grab the newspaper every morning to see the schedule for the day. Did I mention I’m completely obsessed with gymnastics? :) My favorite is Cheng Fei, she’s completely stunning when she does her competitions. And I’m also thrilled that GuoJingjing and her partner (what’s her name? It’s so hard to remember  ) won a gold medal for China :D  I’m not sure if you guys like watching the Olympics, but I know I sure do.

I’ve also been tagged by Mauricio, so here:

  1. My favorite colors are turquoise and lime green.
  2. I’m less conservative at school, but on the contrary, I laugh the loudest at home. Make that a cackle.
  3. I love where I live, it’s the best place to live in a busy city. I consider it like the suburbs.
  4. I was a member of the school gymnastics club and I’m pretty good, but I suck when it comes to strength. I’m only good at flexibility.
  5. 6th grade was one of the happiest times of my life.
  6. I’m 5 feet 5-ish, almost going to be taller than my parents :D
  7. I bit my nails when I was small, but I do it less often now. I only do it when I’m bored (which means I usually do it in Science class  )
  8. I use a Motorola Razr phone  It’s so cool, I don’t care if it’s not the newest, hottest style.
  9. My wardrobe consists of clothes that are bought in a famous street where they sell stuff stores don’t want. Who cares about buying clothes that cost US$19.95 when you can get the same at US $2?
  10. I’m not fond of being tagged, I’m running out of facts lol

EDIT- Umm, I tag Jessica, Guy, Sharlene, and Tika =] - END EDIT

Please welcome my new affie, Sharlene, and my hostee, Guy, is back!!
